But, surely for that one dog the world will change forever. Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue, Inc., has been caring for abused, abandoned and homeless domestic rabbits since our founding in 1986. We are a not-for-profit, 501 domestic rabbit rescue organization and no-kill shelter, housing more than 80 rabbits at any time.
We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. We also operate a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic each Sunday.
Home Fur Good Animal Rescue and Placement
We all work very hard to find each cat and dog a ‘fur’ever home that best meets the animal’s needs, as well as the prospective adopter’s needs. HOME ‘FUR’ GOOD was formed by a group of individuals who are animal lovers at heart. We have banded together to make a positive difference in the lives of homeless cats and dogs in Maricopa County. Each year, thousands of unwanted and injured animals are euthanized. Maricopa County is the second largest welfare system in the country- second only to Los Angeles County. More than 100,000 abandoned cats and dogs enter our shelter system each year.
In September, 2009, after filing all the necessary paperwork, Home ‘Fur’ Good was officially established as a 5013 non-profit with the hope of eliminating the euthanasia of adoptable animals in Maricopa County. The staff and volunteers at Home ‘Fur’ Good strive to give its animals a clean and comfortable place to sleep, nutritious food to eat, excellent medical care, adequate daily exercise, and an overdose of love and affection. Everyone works hard to find each cat and dog a ‘fur’ever home that best meets the animal’s needs, as well as the prospective adopter’s needs. Mynx is a 10-year-old, 11 pound male white and black Domestic Shorthair. Both cats are in our free-roam cat room and seem to do just fine with other cats; they could potentially do well with your cat at home too.

Find a pet to adopt
It’s no wonder why dogs can fill up our lives with as much happiness — at times, with even more happiness — when family or friends are around. Adopt a pet from a pet shelter by locating it through our pet directory. New Hope Cattle Dog Rescue started in 2001 to rescue a dog breed that we all love and admire, the Australian Cattle Dog. New Hope is dedicated and passionate about working together to rehome dogs and educate the public about the Cattle Dog personality.
The Sponsor a Pet program is handled by The Petfinder Foundation, a 5013 nonprofit organization, to ensure that shelters and rescue groups receive donations in the easiest way possible. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions.
HFG’s mission is to eliminate euthanasia in Maricopa County by providing quality medical care, adoption placements, promotion of spay/neuter procedures and outreach education for pet owners. Our dogs are always there for us, in good times and in bad times. They endure whatever our mood is — angry, frustrated, sad — and they respond with understanding, love, warmth, and patience. Yes, words are not necessary for our dogs to feel what we are feeling.
HOME 'FUR' GOOD is a group of individuals who are animal lovers at heart. Home Fur Good is a non profit no kill animal shelter located in the NE Valley. We take a majority of our cats and dogs from County, many who have treatable medical conditions and would otherwise be put down.
